data we collect
To process your order you must provide us with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering Payment is taken through Stripe or Paypal, no payment information such as card or account numbers are accessed by us.
If you have subscribed to the mailing list and authorised contact, your email address, first and last name is collected. You can unsubscribe via the link in an email received anytime or you may contact us at any time via Emma@everynook.co.uk to request your information is no longer stored.
We use a third party tracking software Google Analytics via our website host shopify.com. This monitors visitors to better understand their activity on the site and to help us develop and continually improve our website and your experience. The software will save a cookie to your computer’s hard drive in order to track and monitor your engagement of the website, but will not store, save or collect personal information. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.
When we will use it
Data collected when you make a purchase is used to fulfil your order and provide customer service via notifying of any delivery or order queries or after care required.
In addition for legal reasons, to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.
If a subscriber to our newsletter the data given will be used to contact you occasionally via email newsletter. You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.
Who we need to share it with
Your information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred or given to any other company, other than for the purpose customer service communication and for payment and delivery of the purchased product requested by the customer.

When posting your item to create a postal label and track your delivery I will need to share name and address details with trusted third party services, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Service provider Klaviyo, a third party used to send subscribers email newsletters.
How long will we keep it
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements.
