Seasons change but our love of candle can stay the same, the story of enjoying every nook in Spring.

Hooray for the warmer weather that finally returned last week! Now I won't get too excited and jinx anything, but hopefully the joy of popping out without a coat will become a common occurrence from now on.

A change to a warmer season can make your mind drift from the idea of enjoying a good candle, but WAIT there is more our home scents can offer us at this time of year!

'BRING THE SUNSHINE IN' SCENTS

GREEN LEAF + BERGAMOT

With zesty citrus and fresh herbaceous notes, this scent is uplifting and really refreshes a space. The pop of crisp green on the label is inspired by houseplants so will also perfectly compliment spring interior decor of plants and foliage.

VIOLET + TEA ROSE

A true floral scent, with rose, lily and violet notes, creates the feel of a room full of beautiful blooms. Perfectly compliments the cut flowers you may now be dotting around the house and the pop of pink and coral brightens a room into a summery space.

BAKED RHUBARB + SPRITZ

As a fair weather allotment owner, the smell of Rhubarb takes me to a sunny day, watering and weeding around the sprouting rhubarb. One of my favourite places to unwind :) This scent also has notes of refreshing elderflower and lemon, perfect ingredients for a summer spritzer - delicious!

BLACK FIG + AMBER

The green notes of fresh fig are beautiful and Mediterranean, but it's the creamy base notes of coconut that remind me of summer in this scent.

THE BEAUTY OF SOY WAX

With a lower melting point than paraffin wax, if a soy candle is left exposed (i.e the lid is removed from your container candle or as standard with a pillar candle) a warm room will cause the wax to soften and the scent to gently lift, so you can enjoy your candle scent without burning the wick. It's a subtle effect but makes for a pleasant surprise as you walk past your candle or a waft of air carries it through the room.

TRY A NEW WAY TO ENJOY YOUR SCENT

If you don't feel in the mood to light a candle, then using wax melts is a great way to enjoy your favourite every nook scent. Perfect to quickly scent a room when the days are growing longer and we regrettably have less time snuggled on the sofa in the evening!

CANDLES AS SPRING DECOR!

All every nook candles are created with there shelf appeal in mind, but the pillars are so well suited to add a pop of colour to you shelves or table decor.

Have fun creating a Spring or Summer seasonal display, one of my favourite activities is restyling my shelves and tables! Using the vibrant Wolf & Wildflower London trays is also a great way to refresh your decor for Spring/Summer, and work perfectly with the every nook pillars.

I hope some of these tips are useful, I'd love to hear your favourite ways of enjoying candles at this time of year!
